Our mission

Our mission at Ezra is to detect cancer early for everyone in the world. We are currently focused on prostate cancer and have developed a new screening technology based on MRI and AI.

We believe in empowering people to make their own health decisions, so we are offering Ezra as a direct-to-consumer health membership. Our members sign up for Ezra, visit a partner imaging center to get a prostate MRI scan, and receive a cancer screening report within 48 hours. Our reports are generated by radiologists assisted by the Ezra AI, which increases accuracy and improves productivity for our radiologists.

Your mission

Your mission will be to ensure our Toronto and New York offices run smoothly, and to coordinate our CEOs agenda and travel schedule. Your focus will be on creating and maintaining a pleasant work environment, assist employees with HR duties, and coordinate all of the day-to-day office duties and communications between our Toronto and NYC office (the role is based in Toronto).

As a Office Manager and Executive Assistant to CEO at Ezra, you will:

  • Manage office supplies inventory
  • Scanning/emailing/general clerical duties/mail and courier/administrative tasks
  • Assist with managing the CEO's calendar and travel arrangements
  • Assist with invoicing, collections, A/R, A/P, and paying bills
  • Manage external relationships with vendors and suppliers
  • Manage general HR administrative duties including on-boarding of new employees, policies, and benefits, etc.
  • Coordinate and manage all office equipment
  • Address employee queries regarding office management issues (i.e. stationary and travel arrangements)
  • Plan in-house or off-site activities (i.e. parties, celebrations, conferences, meetings, etc.)
  • Act as a point of contact for our Toronto office - incoming queries incoming calls/emails and direct them to the right department
  • Occasionally take minutes at leadership or board meetings

Who you are

A highly organized, detailed-oriented individual able to work under pressure and juggle multiple responsibilities at once. You have excellent communication skills, and enjoy being proactive about solving problems. You will be supporting all aspects of the daily office operations in Toronto and remotely for NYC, and help our CEO manage his agenda and travel schedule.

Key requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Prior experience working with senior level executives
  • Proven experience as an office manager, front-office manager or administrative / executive assistant
  • Knowledge of office manager responsibilities, systems and procedures
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, resourcefulness and ability to find solutions
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
  • A creative mind with an ability to identify problems and suggest improvements
  • Ability to work autonomously on administrative tasks and projects
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
