Our mission

Our mission at Ezra is early detection of cancer for everyone in the world. We are currently focused on prostate cancer and have developed a new screening technology based on MRI and AI.

We believe in empowering people to make their own health decisions, so we are offering Ezra as a direct-to-consumer health membership. Ezra members visit a partner imaging center to get a prostate MRI scan, and receive a cancer screening report within 48 hours. Our reports are generated by radiologists assisted by the Ezra AI, which increases accuracy and improves productivity for our radiologists.

Your mission

You will lead and be responsible for the software architecture of all of our platforms: from back office, to web, mobile (iOS and Android), and machine learning systems. You will make architecture design decisions that align with our business goals and account for available state-of-the-art technology. You will collaborate with and draw on the expertise of our engineering team.

It will be your responsibility to implement a robust architecture that can scale up rapidly as we grow. It should be able to serve millions of users in milliseconds and perform back office operations in a secure, traceable, and efficient manner.

You will also be responsible for maintaining and scaling our AWS platform. We expect you to have deep SysAdmin knowledge (ideally an AWS certification), and to be proficient in mapping architectural decisions to cloud infrastructure.

As the Software Architect at Ezra, you will:

  • Participate in product development meetings and translate business requirements to software architecture and design decisions.
  • Create, document, communicate, and maintain a unified architecture across all of our software systems.
  • Provide architectural guidance and supervision to the engineering team, ensuring that the architecture is observed and maintained throughout the software life cycle.
  • Participate in code reviews
  • Be responsible for mapping architectural decisions to cloud infrastructure resources.
  • Monitor our cloud resources and advise on the best strategies to scale up, as needed.
  • Have deep understanding and proficiency in setting up and managing AWS cloud infrastructure.
